Want to learn ukulele, but don’t know where to start? Fortunately, there are tons of easy ukulele songs out there that even complete beginners can master in minutes.
For this list, we’ve found four of the best ukulele songs that use easy ukulele chords and are great fun for first time players and seasoned strummers alike.
So let’s dive in. Here are Roadie’s best ukulele songs for beginners.
Sweet Home Alabama – Lynyrd Skynyrd
Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 1974 classic single is a guitar anthem. But, it’s surprisingly easy to learn for the Uke. With just a D,C and G chord, you’ve mastered the basics of the song, and you’re good to go. Even the lead parts aren’t too taxing to learn. If you play Uke with a friend, this is a great crowd pleaser to bring out as a duo.

Just The Way You Are – Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars’ 2010 hit Just The Way You Are is a definite floor filler. And, it’s the song that sent his “Doo-Wops and Hooligans” album into the stratosphere (with a little help from Glee, of course).
If you want to recreate Mr. Mars’ megahit on your Uke, then you’re in luck. It’s a super straightforward song to play, featuring just C, A Minor and F shapes. Playing these three on the Ukulele is a dawdle. You’ll get the hang of it in no time, after which you can start having some fun with it!

Someone Like You – Adele
Another modern pop classic here, this time from the ever brilliant Adele. The closing track from her second album, “21,” it’s the kind of heartbreak anthem that Adele does well. Critics generally regard it as a highlight of the album, and it was her first number-one single in her native U.K.
If you’ve mastered Bruno Mars, then you already know the chords for this Adele track. It’s the same three as Just The Way You Are, just played in a different order. Boom! You’ve doubled up your song repertoire without even knowing it!

All Along the Watchtower – Bob Dylan/Jimi Hendrix
Rounding out our list is another classic rock staple. While Bob Dylan initially recorded this for his “John Wesley Harding” album in 1967, it was Hendrix’s incendiary version that made the mark on popular culture.
Yes, there’s plenty of flair on the Jimi version, but at the song’s heart, there are just three simple chords; A minor, G and F. And guess what? If you’ve learned the other three songs on this list, then you already know the components for this one. Carry on at this rate, and you’ll be a Uke master before you know it!
